I have read this comic more than once, and it make me cry (happily? sadly?) that it's far less possible today, between the final legalization of gay marriage and the passing of national healthcare. I grew up in Massachusetts (we have had healthcare for everyone for decades), and this comic always made me sad and scared for the rest of America, and for my friends elsewhere in it, but today things look a little less bleak.

I remember coming across this a few years ago and it hit me then just as hard as it hit me now after stumbling onto this by chance. This one still brings tears to my eyes. Although gay marriage is now legal in the entirety of the US, there are still many countries around the world where being queer is dangerous. This one is also a good reminder of the hardships the queer community has faced and still continue to face.

Government should not be allowed in religion, if two people, regardless of sex, want to marry each other, but their church won't allow it, then they should be able to go down to city hall, and get their marriage license like an other couple in the world.

Its why I watch all current movies online for free. Do the mentioned people care if they can't get married or see a dying loved one? Hell no they want this shit to happen because that way they can be relevant and feel good when they watch others suffering. This stuff won't be fixed by the system because if it is the government will be even more useless then it is now. Both sides oppress and whine about shit for our attention and continued reason to exist. The government fears not being paid attention to like media icons when things are fixed they will have to work instead of getting money for absolutely no work. Its why I am a libertarian if my way goes this shit will be a chapter in a history book, and politicians will actually do some work.

I know you wish to speak for the same-sex marriages, but this is actually a wrong way to do it: the right to see the people important to you when they're sick or using your health insurance to save their lives shouldn't, by any means, be exclusively married couples' right in the first place!

Can there be a happy version of this story? Why can there be happy endings, Love is a strong weapon, chemical, and Spell that nothing cannot be broke. I think i will draw the part the the main character finds ancient magic-tech from a long lost (but not dead) race, that will not only raise the dead, but also makes the target and user immortal. While I hate the homophobia, I'm still a bit stuck on the "We could save your life, but we won't because you don't have the money." The non-acceptance of insurance because of homophobia is terrible, but do US citizens honestly allow death to happen for no reason but being poor, and still maintain they are a moral authority in the world? I spied this on my friends computer before she snapped it shut.
She's scared that she might feel this one day... I want her to be happy with the one she loves, no matter what happens. Society cannot stand in the way of love forever. The world needs to change in many ways, but some ways quicker than others if we want to be peaceful.
