Tnx 4 your encouragement, really ^_^
I met people that think I'll never be able to shoot a good photo..
I think they forgot their first day with a camera, maybe..
by the way, the difference isn't in the camera, but in what and how we watch what's around us.
I believe I can do good photos, so I will shoot and try, more and more.
Anyway.. yes, this is PAN ("meow to meet U!" ..LOL.. ) and this is my parent's home.
I also read some of your comments, around. I really like your suggestions. It seems you're unassuming even if you're really able to teach, judge and suggest encouraging and very useful things. This is the reason why I really appreciate your comments. Was I clear? I hope so.. I'm not an english mothertongue.. maybe I need more practice
Plz, feel free 2 write me EVERYTHING you got in mind. I'd really appreciate it.

I think your English is great. It beats my Italian, thats for sure. The only thing I can say is the word for thank you.
I am on the later years of my life and I can only give encoutagement to others. I see great talent and then I see desire. Art is about desire and don't you forget it. 97% hard work and 3% talent. Keep it up. Study other artist work and learn what is good and what separates the good from the average. Make a plan and of success write it down so you see your goals everyday. Look in the internet and find the rule of thirds and Golden Means. These will help you setup your composition in your photography design. Then learn how to use your equipment. Train your eye to see settle differences in light. Use a reflector card (White Board) and bounce light into dark areas. to lighten up a picture. This works form small photography, Take photos in early mornings and around the time the sun is not to high in the sky. These are the best times. Cloudy day also work well.

U really moved me. Tnx.
I'm reading some books (my new camera's manual and other 2 books by Andreas Feininger that my dad suggested me) and today I spent a lot of time watching this site.
[link]
A friend suggested me to watch other's work, wonderin' how did they realize what they catched.
He also used similar words 4 what you said about daylight.
I'll write down this comment.
I want to read it more and more when I need some inspiration *_*
In these last 2 weeks I was stucked @ home (an annoying pharyngitis), so I'm writing down on my copybook (it's really a good old copybook! Not a Moleskine or something so ) what I'll try to catch when I'll be able to reach my camera & go out. Suggestions and tricks I'm discovering (and learning) on the owner guide, I mean (after this, as I said, I'll read Feininger's books). But I'm not in a hurry anyway, so I wanna try what is good and what is not, to understand the difference.
A friend o' mine said she can be my model (read "victim"! XD ) 4 my early experiments.
If she allows me, I'd like to post a photo I shoot her last Easter. Really colourful.
Maybe it's not a good portrait(you can't see her face), but it surely got her "essence". When I look that img, I can recognize her joy of living.
Someone told me he don't like that photo, but who cares, in the end?
I did it 4 me and my friend. And we like it. That's important.
I think that anyone can shoot a photo of a face, with a fully automatic camera.
The difference is in the eye behind the camera, in MY perspective.
And your suggestions will be surely useful. Tnx.
..And I'm sorry if I annoyed you

Your father seems to support you and that is the best situation that can happen to you. When I can help someone it is not a nusiance. I like teaching and when I fine someone who is serios about the art it is my honor and duty to art help as much as I can

To develop a good eye look for what would be unusual. Fine one oject in that one object take three different areas of a closeup. These three photos should tell a story. As far as learning from your father it is a completely different situation. Maybe you are to close to him. I know I feel this way with my grandson and expect to much from him. From the people we love teaching them maybe really hard to do. Parents want more and children say I will never measure up. I do know one thing it will take hard work. To be great you need to live, think, and pursue your dreams to the best you can.
