A fun shot from a photo shoot with a local photographer.While I'm not a fan of the character "Lady Deadpool," Wade Wilson's Deadpool is by far one of my favorite characters of all time. Since I'm unfortunately not a guy, I can't 100% portray my favorite character to the T, but I can damn well try!
Costume made by yours truly.

I just have to say, THANK YOU!
For actually portraying a character without the desire to remove 70% of the costume. I love women, and perversion, and stuff like that, but I hate seeing so many chicks at comic con with this skimpy outfit, but no knowledge of the character.
You actually have the body to where you could pull off the sexy half-costumes, so that was really awesome to see....
the pose is also spot on.

I was planning as going as Deadpool for Halloween, but I would rather not buy a costume, and instead make it. What materials did you use to make this? Any tips on how to make it would be helpful too! Thanks!

If you hunt through the comments, I may have already answered most of your questions. As for the material, it is 4 way stretch lycra. Definitely not a beginners project, but if you have the patience and sewing skill, have at it.~

I'm kind of obsessed with this picture! I'm thinking of cosplaying as Lady Deadpool, starting at Momocon! I have the suit down, I was wondering where you got your utility belt from or if you just made it? Thank you so much! I am really glad you decided not to do the ponytail, I don't like it that much either haha

Thank you!Β Β I made the logo belt buckle cover, the rest is from a second hand army store. It's a basic adjustable belt with the plain metal buckle in the front and the pouches were really random. The ones in front would usually hold extra clips for guns, and the back one (you can't really see it) is some kind of air force pouch, but it's great for holding snacks and business cards. lol. It's very much a "do what works/looks good" kind of thing. You don't want huge pouches, but you also don't want tiny useless ones.Β

4 way stretch lycra in both red and black. Super flexible and surprisingly comfy. You can substitute other materials, but 4-way stretch will give you the best mobility for action poses!~Β

It was a tough call. It was either, wear the color matching boots and get a lil' height boost (I'm very short), or go for more character accurate and buy new flat boots just to modify them. I went with my first option. I already owned the boots I just changed the base color, kept the buckle/heel black, and it's aΒ chunky enough heel that I can actually run and move in them. Thanks for the comment either way!

Fem wade Wilson Deadpool? I can dig it! I wish I had the body type to pull off a deadpool, kick-ass, or Spider-Man.
With my build, I am stuck with the Captain America, Wolverine, Batman, or Superman type builds.
I think I might go as colonel stars and stripes For this years SDCC. should be epic.
