I can't help but I always wondered how swimwear works for furries especially for girls who decide to wear a one-piece swimsuit with a big and possible fluffy tail. I mean it's possible that their swimsuit has a small hole for their tail but how big could be and how they push their tail through it. I believe it could be a challenge like thread the thread to the needle for sewing.

I've seen furry lower garments in general handled with a snap that goes over the top of the tail's root. Sometimes there's the equivalent of a fly (ylf?), so the openness is adjustable. And sometimes the tail just hangs over the edge.
Of course, swimwear gets weird with fur regardless of tails, for a reason that just came up in a webcomic today: grrlpowercomic.com/archives/30…
