It's rodent week on an eBay art group if you're wonderingAnyway, it's good practice for Pannya.

It's really hit and miss on eBay... I think the main thing is to have something cute/attractive and something that's not in abundance.

Gah all my teeth will have fallen out by the time I finish your gallery! That is such a sweet expression! I love how you brought in the muddy green in the background. It really gives the feel for the woods where he (I assume) lives. The lightlight in the dark eyes really brings him to life. Did you preserve that spot from the white paper?

X3 Well, that's my aim in life - to give people caries (I mean... uh... no not that)
The large white highlight is the white in the paper showing through, I believe for the small highlight I used gouache. I got lazy with this and didn't bother getting my masking fluid out for such small areas.

Just kidding. I love both of these little mousies. This one in particular is beautifully detailed. That fur looks soft enough to touch. Your watercolour work never ceases to amaze.

Somehow the fur on this one worked out to be very realistic, I guess I was laying it down in the correct agouti pattern?
