Relation: Annie's Uncle from her father's side of the family

Twin brother to Annie's father. Besides her dad, Varrick served as her main battle teacher. A bit of an odd guy for someone into battle but when he's in the zone he knows his stuff. Very careful and nervous (especially around teenagers) so it makes things a little bit of a challenge, nonetheless, he has a pretty good relationship with Annie, even if it is a little goofy. Unfortunately he's not very keen on taking on students and is even a little finicky with Annie at times. One thing he was good at, however, is teaching her to do to the opposite of destroy everything (whether it was for good reasons or because he didn't want to deal full force stuff, we just don't know). The type of teacher to tell you to concentrate on air for 5 hours so he doesn't have to deal with any injuries. He's bad with words so he likes to write himself notes (which don't help anyway). While being rather successful his family doesn't seem to take much notice of him. He's so quiet they just forget he exists sometimes.
