Description
Having not eaten for the last two days, Jasiri ventured outside of her territory in hopes of finding some food so she wouldn't spend the night again with an empty belly. She'd usually stick to her home range, but without any food in it, if she didn't eat something soon, she'd starve. To her delight, she then spotted a small rodent at a short distance. Afraid of being seeing by the rival clan, she tried to make it a quick hunt. She ran fast and as silent as she can, unfortunately her presence did not go unnoticed, the leader of the enemy clan jumped right in front of her.“Look what I just caught..... an intruder!”
“I was just looking for something to eat, that's all”
“Oh yes, in MY part of the Outlands”
“I haven't eat in two days, there’s nothing to hunt in my territory”
“Not my problem” he said with an air of indifference.
Janja came closer to the young female with a menacing stance.
“But you know what IS my problem? That little thieves like you came here and stole OUR food”
“Ok, then move so I can go back to my territory”
“I don't think so” he said with an evil grin growing on his face “no one trespass into my lands and gets out alive”
Jasiri stood there nervous for a second, but faithful to her name, she grow some courage and confronted the greedy male.
“And you're going to do it yourself? Ha ha ha..... I admit it, I'm really surprised to see you on your own. A coward like you would never dare to have a fair fight, one on one”
“Grrr..... At least I have a clan, unlike a certain loner here with no one to back her up or even care once she's gone for good”
Those words hit Jasiri, it was certainly unusual for a young hyena her age to be on its own. But whatever happened to her clan, she learned to take care of herself, and was not going to stand there without at least pulling a fight to save her life.
“Better to be alone than be part of a clan of fools like yours” she said, bare teeth, ready to fight.
“All right, THAT'S ENOUGH!”......

Well, here's another of my silly stories XD. These two are my favorite hyenas and simply had to draw them together at some point.
How will this end? I really don't know.

I'm sure the song would have worked greatly here. Especially with Jasiri stealing some food to feed a starving hyena in her clan.

The only reason Janja is in charge of his clan is because there are apparently no females. Jasiri could quite easily step in with her females, take over the whole clan, and Janja would have to hope that he was tough enough to get to mate with her. Even the highest ranking male hyena ranks lower than the lowest ranking female.
Hyenas know where it's at.

Jasiri does have a clan though (see episode: lions of the outlands). Also, she would be able to overpower Janja as female spotted hyenas being bigger and stronger. A whole clan of males could overpower Jasiri alone, but if she had a clan of females, the females would win.

Yes, I made this drawing before "Lions of the Outlands" aired and revealed that Jasiri has a clan. It was nice to know she isn't alone, I like her sister Madoa.

This isn't shipping, though. The way they interact in here is pretty much the exact opposite of it. They're rivals/enemies, one of them would need a drastic change in their views of life in order to even begin liking each other, let alone fall in love. At least that's how I view it, though if others like to ship them, good for them.

Why? They're enemies, what did you expect? Janja will try to kill her and Jasiri, knowing her personality, may not kill him but will fight until she can escape from his territory.

Why would Janja want to kill her? I'd rather see him try to negotiate something with her. Perhaps change her views on things. I'm just very sensitive about the whole thing, that's all. I wish Janja and Jasiri could cooperate with each other.

He was clearly going to kill her in the episode, or at least trying to injure her, along with Kion. There's nothing in the series so far that gives any indication they would cooperate or be allies, they have oposite views of life, Jasiri respect the Circle of Life while Janja doesn't. And I doubt Disney would make Jasiri evil since her character was made precisely to brake that stereotipe of the bad hyena created by the first movie. IF they do it, at most it would be temporarily, and she would go back to be on Kion's side at the end.
Jasiri wouldn't end up being evil, that's very, very unlikely to happen. Janja changing his views and be accepted in the Pride Lands is more likely to happen, and it would be at that point that he may get along with Jasiri. Also, getting along doesn't mean that they are going to love each other or anything like that either.
Also, why are you so sensitive about it? I did not portrayed them any different from how Disney did in the episode.

I know you didn't, but still. I'd love for Jasiri to become evil. Even if it was temporary. That's just how I feel, okay. I love all hyenas. I love Janja and his clan and I love Jasiri too. I just don't like how they are being treated, that's all. And really. If Jasiri was good, then tell me this. WHY THE HECK HASN'T SHE BEEN ALLOWED INTO THE PRIDELANDS?! It's quite clear that Simba still HATES hyenas all because of a little incident he had with Nala in the Elephant Graveyard scene in the first movie. Yes, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed were going to kill them and eat them. While I'd love for this to happen, I understand why this would be so controversial. I don't think hyenas are truthfully bad. I feel that they need more love. The Lion Guard may have introduced a good hyena, but they aren't doing much with her at all. Where is she when Kion deals with Janja and his clan most of the time? NOWHERE! That's the answer. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they made an entire tv show out of the outlanders. That would be a great show if you ask me. Dark, but I could see Disney making it. It could be Disney's answer to Invader Zim. I actually would've preferred the hyenas having a show and not one on Timon and Pumbaa. I mean the cartoon from the 90s.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love hyenas too, both in real life and the ones from the TLK franchise. While I don't think Jasiri will end up a villian, I admit it would be interesting to see her getting confused in a episode about why she's not allowed in the Pride Lands even though she respect the balance of nature, unlike Janja.
I think the reason Jasiri haven't appeared in any other episode so far is because many times when producers aren't sure if a character is going to be popular, they just have them appear once in the season, then if the character proves to be well liked by the audience, then they would bring the character back in the next season. Jasiri is pretty popular in the fandom, so I'm sure they'll bring her for the second season.
While unusual for them to do it, if they ever make a series focusing on the outlanders, I'd definitely watch it. The Timon and Pumbaa series has some episodes focusing on the hyena trio, those were my favorites for sure.

They should make an episode as you said about her getting confused about why she's not allowed in the Pride Lands. I can just imagine her being so devastated and depressed. It would make sense for her to appear once during the first season, but that doesn't answer my questioning of why the heck is the Lion Guard STILL in it's first season. It is the middle of August and yet Disney hasn't rolled in a second season yet. Not to mention that I feel as if the Lion Guard has more popularity among adults than the actual target audience by the lack of merchandise and marketing for the show. I'm not even sure if Disney will keep this show on for long at all anyways. It seems to me that they are more obsessed with all this princess and pixar crap that they forgot about their older franchises. The ones that originally characterized Disney for who they are. I give this show another year before Disney pulls the plug like they did with Jake and the Neverland Pirates which I believe the Lion Guard replaced.
As for making a series focusing on the outlanders, I really think that they should do it. So many people love Janja and his clan as well as Reirei, Goigoi, Dogo, and Jasiri as well as all the other outlanders that it only makes sense to create their own show. I knew about the episodes that had the hyena trio featured. It was I believe a part called The Laughing Hyenas. I do love this part of the show, but I feel like Timon and Pumbaa are kind of overrated. Sure, economically speaking it was a good idea to make a show out of Timon and Pumbaa because of their popularity in the first movie, but still. The hyenas were the same way, yet Disney never made a show on them due to the controversy surrounding them. Disney was sued big time which may explain why the hyenas were never featured in the Lion King II which isn't the best sequel for one of Disney's most memorable and treasured films of all time. Sadly, I doubt it'll happen. I would like to see The Outlanders as I would call it be a Disney XD show since they show more darker content. It would be nice to have a dark comedy show for older audiences that enjoy the Lion King/Lion Guard franchise.
It's just sad how a company like Disney could treat the hyenas like this. I really don't see them showing Jasiri much. The only reason for the creation of Jasiri was to calm down the whole controversy of hyenas being evil which began with the release of the Lion King back on June 15th, 1994. They wanted their consumers to believe that Disney really cared about them when in reality it was all to regain their trust in Disney so consumers will give them more money. I really don't think it was Disney's fault for the misrepresentation of hyenas. Hyenas have always been shown terribly, going back to ancient Mali. Kimba the white lion featured hyenas that served the villain of the show, again showing them as bad and the destruction of the hyena's habitat has lead to hyenas being threatened for extinction. What a cruel world we live in. Terrorism, destruction of habitats, dictatorships, murders, rape, drugs, all this crap that has ruined Earth as a whole. What a shame.
