The way the trees are so straight in comparison to the original gives this a really weird, formulaic feel and I like that. I actually like it a bit more than the original for that reason. Very nice.

thanks for that! I've been on a tropical rainforest walk where there was a pathway with very tall pine trees that were planted like this. It was quite striking how measured out they looked.

It looks like that's the general consensus
I tried to get more softness into the fog and more realism in the trees but I think the colours take the realism in the wrong direction and it looks like its been photoshopped too much. Hmmm..
