Big fan of Candace myself - always figured she could do so much better than Julius when I first heard he was the rival, and before I knew it - BAM - married her.

Yes, as stupid as it sounds, it was the 2nd Rival Heart Event that ALMOST killed off Anissa x Jin for me. If it hadn't had been that bad, I would have let them get married and pursue Phoebe in my first play through, but seeing THAT was just too unbearable to go through with it....
