Description Here is a drawing I did tonight over about 2 hours. I hadn't drawn anything in a while and I fond a lovely piece of watercolour paper that I figured would be tough enough to withstand some scribbling!

My inspiration was from a beautiful beautiful eucalyptus that is growing on the property I grew up on. I've always been enthralled by the smooth cool coloured bark and the shape of the branches so I thought it might be time to try drawing it!

What do you think? I'd love to hear some feedback on this one! I don't really like that little branch that seems to cut across at the wrong angle...but then I don't know if it would look right without it...

(coloured pencils on watercolour paper)

...it's nice to be back (^_^)

its beautiful :] hmm.. well its better for a tree to be more random right? so i guess that branch looks ok, the overall drawing would look good with or without it. great work

Thanks for your quick comment! I really appreciate it

You're right, I thought that without that odd branch the tree would look too planned. (^_^)
