How long did you bake at what temperature?

around 200 degrees Fahrenheit, for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the clay. some pieces might need as long as 45 minutes, but if you keep the baking temperature low, the clay shouldn't burn if you leave it in for that long. you can increase the temp up to about 225 and it'll bake faster, but that means you won't want to leave it in as long.

haha, very gently. it helps if you've frozen the charms for a few minutes. then they keep their shape better.

just wondering: How does the eye pin stay in, do you have to use glue?

well, there's a couple different ways. i used to just stick the pin in and bake it, and sometimes that'd hold, but sometimes the pins would fall out, so i started looking for ways to get the pins to stay in. you can dip the pin in TLS and then insert it into the charm before you bake it, and that should hold. what i do is a little more time consuming, but i find it works better. i put the pins in the charms (no TLS), bake the charms, wait for them to cool, pull the pins out, dip them in TLS, slip them back in, and then bake the charms again. or you can bake them, cool them, take the pins out, dip them in regular air dry glue, re-insert the pins and then let the glue dry.

How do you cut your pie so the colors don't start to smear together? I always have that problem.
