My two favorite characters from MLP: FiM, spending some quality nap-time together.Discord is curious as to why Sweetie Belle wants to hang out with him instead of her fellow Crusaders, but he decides not to question it and, at the very least, make sure she's comfortable.
Meanwhile, Sweetie Belle is napping away peacefully, happy to be by Discord's side.
EDIT (12-26-15): Newer and... only marginally better, thanks to the Tablet! My god, is that coloring of Discord's head still horrendously off-model! I will attempt to fix this on a later date.
EDIT 2 (1-1-16): Updated with better colors! Hopefully their both closer to being on-model now.

Look, I don't care about this comment war that the two of you seem to engage in. But please, if you're going to begin another petty argument somewhere, I'd appreciate if it wasn't on my artwork. I have nothing to do with whatever squabble you two seem to be having at the moment, so it's a bit unfair to drag me in, isn't it?

Looks good. But in the future, I would be more careful about what images you use as reference, or not copy from them so thoroughly. Most of the mistakes here are ones that were problems in the reference you used. Anatomy wise, Discord's left ear is too low, his show model has ears placed at or near the top of his head, always behind his jawline. This is taken from real life horses and goals. His ear placement here looks like it's growing out of his cheek. Also, Discord's left arm has brown fur on it, not grey(this mistake is also in the reference you used). Regarding minor mistakes, you also forgot his left nostril.
Discord is tricky to draw, but this looks really good for a first try. When I draw him, I base his anatomy around snakes, lions, and other big predatory animals. Try to reference real life animals in your drawings, instead of vectored images, because to learn how to draw well, you have to learn from life, things like anatomy, structure, form, and perspective. 1) I'll try not to use vectored images as references in my next drawings. I guess it wasn't a good idea to use a fan-made vector as a reference. I did think Discord's ear placement looked wonky in that image as well, and I tried to "correct" it for my drawing, but yes, it still doesn't look quite right.
2) Dang it! I outlined the left nostril, but I forgot to go over it in permanent marker! *sigh* I'll remember to look at my drawings more carefully before I post them.
3) I've learned that drawing Discord is not at all an easy task, but I'm glad that my first attempt, while not perfect, was still a good one.
3) Using real life animals as reference... I never even thought about that before. I'll make sure to do that in my next drawing.
