Yeah, it seems a little odd that he has such an intimidating mask like face at first, but thinking about it really makes sense. In my Intro to Philosophy class, we've been studying Thomas Hobbes, and his view on political philosophy was that you needed an authority figure to cause fear to keep people in line and from going to far with pursuing natural instinct of self-serving in order to have peace. This REALLY seems to be exemplified through this drawing! Also the blank white nature of the mask suggests a total calm.
I also enjoy how you used the pixels to create the starscape. So is he literately made out of cosmos?

Hm! I didn't think his mask was intimidating at all, but I like that idea!
