His old app SUCKED so I redesigned him, and rewrote all his info. He hasn't changed too-- ok, no, he's changed A LOT. But for the better I hope.

Abilities: Being a cambion, Michael is for the most part human, and has no “super-powers” really. But he is very cunning and beautiful, and is able to convince most people into doing his bidding. I’m sure he’d make an amazing conman, but that’s about it.

Likes: comic books, cherries (and most other fruits, but cherries are his favorite), talking to people, scary stories, animals, novels, Pokemon, jackets, warm places

Dislikes: children’s television, children (it’s not that he doesn’t like them, he just has no idea how to act around them), salty things, hats (on himself), riding on buses, hospitals, snow

History:

When Martin was born, the doctors assumed he was stillborn due to the face that he wasn’t breathing and had no pulse. However, that was not the case. Cambions are naturally (or supernaturally?) born this way. When one of the doctors, a man named Louis, noticed that the baby was moving despite the fact that he was supposed to be dead, he panicked. He knew that he shouldn’t, but if the kid was alive… He tucked the baby, who was surprisingly heavy despite his size, into his coat, and ran out to his car. There was no way he would be able to explain this to his wife, and he knew it. However, he had no choice apparently.

His wife, Diana, didn’t take it so well, as expected. But three months, and several attempts at getting rid of him, she finally warmed up. Actually, it was Diana who finally named him Martin. Despite Diana's obvious distrust, Martin absolutely adored her. Her singing was the only thing he could fall asleep to after a while, and if she wasn't there to tuck him into bed at night, he refused to sleep. He sometimes wondered why neither of his parents ever held him. It's not that they didn't want to, he was just far to heavy.

When Martin was about 6 or 7-years-old, he started to breath, and slowly but surely he got a pulse. This actually scared him quite a bit. I mean, just imagine if one day you stopped breathing for no apparent reason. Anyways, at this point, his parents felt it may be safe to send him to school. Well, Louis did, Diana on the other hand thought he was crazy. What if something happened? In the end, they waited another year, before starting him in kindergarten. Which is why he’s always been a bit older than everyone else in his class.
As Martin got older, his parents began to feel better. He hadn’t shown any signs of being anything other than human. Louis, however, was a very curious man and did some research. He did it secretly of course, no need to scare his wife in the process. But he began to reconsider when he found something. A page on Wikipedia about a creature called a cambion. ([link] ) Maybe it was just a coincidence.. But no, Louis knew that wasn’t true, he knew that Martin—that their son-- was this creature.

And suddenly, sending him to school didn’t feel like such a good idea. Diana of course was extremely confused, not knowing what her husband had found. And Martin, while smart for his age, didn’t notice anything wrong. Neither Diana nor Martin know about what Louis found, and he hopes they never do. They’re both happy and healthy, and that’s all that matters, right?

Personality:

Martin is usually all smiles. Not to say he’s never angry or upset, he just hides it well when he is. He’s excited by the smallest things, and can stay happy about it for hours. He’s not easily angered (not as far as anyone can tell anyways) and tends to be the voice of reason in stressful or dangerous situations.

Being friends with Martin is fairly easy. He likes to talk, just not about himself. You could tell him everything about you and he’d listen intently the whole time, though some people wonder why. A few have even felt threatened by his interest in them, Martin will always deny having any ulterior motive, and is only wanting to be friends. Other people, most people, absolutely love him.

While he can charm just about anyone, if he really likes you, it won’t be that simple. He’ll become flustered and constantly stutter. This doesn’t happen often however, though when it does he’ll deny it ever happened, sometimes resulting in losing whoever it was he was so attracted to. That’s one thing that will visibly upset him.

Other Stuff:

• He doesn’t like hospitals. When he was little, he always wanted to go to work with his dad Loius, who worked in a hospital. Obviously Louis couldn’t bring him, so he told Martin that they dissected the children who went to hospitals. Probably not the smartest thing to say, but he knew that if anyone he worked with ever found out about Martin, they may actually attempt to dissect him.

• When he was ten-years-old, his cousin Jimmy came to visit. Jimmy was five at the time, and constantly followed Martin around like a baby duck would it’s mother. Martin had no idea how to react. Even now, he has no idea what to do when faced with a child.

• He has a pet mouse he got in this Animal Wonders class. He’s always liked animals, but animals don’t always like him. Actually, they rarely like him. Martin has a few little scars on his chin from his mouse due to this. (She warmed up to him though. So hopefully he won’t be getting anymore scars from her.)
