Well, I'm not a fan of 3D scenes, but this is absolutely ok! Nice idea, nicely done!

Thanks! Yeah me neither. This is more of a learning experience, so that I can familiarize myself with this software and use it efficiently for painting and conceptual design. I like how you can design~on the fly in this program.

it's a fantastic software. My only complaint is this issue you get when using booleans, it refuses to complete the boolean if your mesh isn't closed. Otherwise, it's very very accessible. I've been using it for maybe 50 hours total so far and I'm starting to understand it quite well. Just sit down for a few days and watch/do a lot of tutorials, and mess around with it.

When you talk about the booleans I have some vague Idea what it is from back in college.,.. Do you need to be good at programming to do it?
Or just follow the tuts?

No programming involved! Yeah just follow tuts.
A Boolean is when you take one mesh or group of polygons and subtract it from the other mesh or group of polygons where they are overlapping. So basically if you have a sphere and a smaller cylinder, and you place the cylinder through the sphere (like stabbing it) and use boolean then the cylinder dissapears and you are left with a hole in your sphere mesh.
