Quarterly gules and or, crowns or and lions rampant gules

This is an armorial achievement (coat-of-arms) that I designed in 2009 for an original character I created back in 2002, Parthelus.
The shield is quarterly, with gules (red) and or (gold). The subordinaries on the shield are golden crowns and red rampant lions.
The mantling was intended to appear as flames, since fire is my OC's natural element.
I'm not fluent in Latin, so the motto may be mistranslated (I just used Google translate), but it's SUPPOSED to say: "Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong."
The two supporters on either side of the shield are a gryphon (left) and a lion (right).
