One of the biggest problems with tying this movement itself to a group of people who riot in the streets is the fact that it hurts the cause more than it helps. The media already portrays black people as ignorant, aggressive and unable to resolve or debate a point without violence. All it does is affirm and perpetuate the stereotype. These people should be shamed not for what they protest but how they do it.
But, what really takes the cake is the title of the movement itself. "Black Lives Matter" implies that we are different from anyone else, not just citizens who naturally want the opportunity for the same liberties that everyone else has.Β Why not "All Lives Matter", which is the truest statement you'll ever encounter, I promise. The problem isn't that various policemen may or may not have attacked unarmed black people. The problem is with the fact that it's even a possibility. Police brutality can and has happened to any nationality that you can name.
The whole point of a police force is for the general public to at least feel somewhat safe. I think that most people can agree that this is aΒ fundamentallyΒ goodΒ concept, in theory. Now, the problem is that a person can kill another person under the guise of serving and protecting with little to no skepticism from the government that is supposed to "police the police". Stop fighting each other and protest the goddamned problem. Which is that someone with the amount of power given a police officer needs to be held to a higher standard and constantly monitored.Β
This is not simply an issue of raceΒ but an issue of humanity and the more that we divide ourselves as humans the more the black community becomes alienated and feared. I don't ignore the fact that there is a disgusting amount of racism still present in this day and age but it seems that the term "racist" has degenerated into something you call a white person who has an opposing opinion to a black person.
To sum it up, please stop this crusade against the "white man" and fight the injustice itself.

Number of cops killed by BLM? Zero. One of the alleged cops killed by BLM in 2015 actually offed himself. Another cop murder that was allegedly done by BLM was actually done by a mentally unstable person. The Dallas shootings? The perp actually HATED BLM because they weren't extreme enough for him.

Alright, I admit it's wrong to harass random people despite of how fair your cause is.
Yet, their modus operandi is not organised violence, random protesters harassing random people doesn't mean the entire movement seeks to use violence as a mean to achieve any goal; as I've said, BLM purged members who sought to channel their actions towards organised/planned violence against the state and police(some enraged protesters attacking people is actually espected when you belong to a social group that suffers constant violence from the current institutions, such as the state and the police force)

AND police; people are arrested in the middle of the night accused of having drugs, not to mention the recent decision in Wisconsin Supreme Court, now policemen don't need a warrant to invade your house. The point is that many young black people already suffer a lot of violence from policemen, and this decision of the Wisconsin Supreme Court represebts another step to increase brutal violence from the state against their people. This violence is justified as a war on drugs, so this measure can(and surely will) be taken in other places with the same justification, yet it will do nothing but legitimate more and more abuses.
