Thing is, with testing we know who needs quarentine and who doesn't and can get the healthy people out and about again. Keeping people cooped up is no good for them. Domestic abuse and suicide is on the rise.

Wouldn't it have been just GREAT if communist China A) had jumped on THEIR problem from the beginning, b) TOLD THE WORLD THE DAY THEY DISCOVERED THE PROBLEM, C) Halted outgoing flights of more-than-likely infected people, D) NOT MADE AND SHIPPED DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS to the rest of the world, to deal with a problem THEY created....
Well, guess what? The world- the US in particular- will now be taking as much as they can Back from the Communists. Which was one of Trump's goals Long before he became president.

Well, it was the very problem you detail here: companies farming out to China because 'cheap'- which led to this particular issue. Trump, somewhere about a decade ago, was one of many who warned China could be a problem, and that is why he has been working towards (for a Beginning) balancing trade with China. However I suspect that the US and a host of other nations are going to begin pulling their business out of China, over this mess.
Hm. Well I believe I have heard that China is rather a Mix of Communism and Capitalism- but if we're going to blame 'capitalists' in China, that is even More reason to pull out of there. Plus bringing such businesses back to the US will create even more jobs.
