- this is where I'll put pics of polished aluminum, stainless steel, gold, copper and maybe even some chrome bodies exotics, sports cars, antiques, racecars, motorcycles and maybe even a camping trailer or two.
This is a factory made stainless steel body 1936 Ford Deluxe 2-door Sedan. It is the only privately owned example and is one of just six produced in this eye-catching mirror-like stainless steel to celebrate the debut of this model when it as first revealed at the New York Auto Show and the World's Fair in 1936. It was the Hershey 1st Place Winner in 2009.
I took this pic at Pebble Beach's Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey, CA in August, 2010.

Very cool! I'm guessing this was one of the Allegheny Ludlum stainless cars. They of a twin of this, but nowhere near as polished as this at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh. Here's a vector illustration I did of it: [link]
