I took this picture at the entrance road to Quail Lodge on 14 Aug 08.
There are a dozen cool car events each August that provide the opportunity to see amazing exotic cars, muscle cars, antiques, and hot rods including Concours D' Elegance at Pebble Beach, Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca, the RM and Russo Steele Auction in Monterey, Italiano Concorso at former Fort Ord, Quail Lodge Concours in Carmel Valley, and others.

And, what is even more unbelievable is that there were mere mortal cars also parallel parked near that Talbot Lago (such as Camry, Accord, pickup truck, etc).

I know what you mean - more than just a car it is a piece of art. I was so shocked to see a Talbot Lago parallel parked on the side of the road with mere mortal cars.

Without a doubt, it is a rolling piece of art. Those mortal cars are not worthy.
