Description
This took more time than it's worth, and it's still just a sketch.Based on something someone said on Ponychan awhile back, about Discord being shunned by everyone for his looks so he uses his powers to make ponies be friends with him. TERRIBLY OOC but done for the fun of it.

This comic would describe how I was in elementary school; all the kids thought I was weird so I was ignored.... until I stood up for myself; however I got an RPC for fighting, only to try to get a better reputation. Sound familiar? And that's why my friends call me Discord.

Less OOC then you might think. A few (I assume) hundred or thousand years gives a person time to think and justify and after so much time talking to yourself, you do tend to go mad.

It explores a possible angle of Discord's character that we haven't and probably won't be able to see with the two-part episode. After all, there are at least two sides to every story. Even when it involve's season two's new
I think Discord's always gonna be one of my faves, actually.

I like this, whether as just a fan interpretation or a guess to his backstory. Not terribly likely backstory, mind, but I can see this happening, and then the stone imprisonment turning him into the Discord we all know and love today ("But you wouldn't know that, would you? Because I don't turn ponies into STONE!")
