whats HDRI?

PasMater In reply to cooperad [2004-11-20 18:06:12 +0000 UTC]

it means high dynamic range image
u can use that images as your background or light map to make the render more realistic
u can find many tutorials on that on the net

look like your on the right trck fo sho! Something seems wierd about you lighting though. Could be the paint texture your using for it but it feels like maybee its a scaled down model. Very detailed model of course, but something. When you get a finished render, def work on the reflections (trees & such) will def help with getting a sence of proper scale for it. But your model is great.

I simply love this. note me when this is done, i want to +fav it but if its not done then i guessi can wait.

Pros: Very photorealistic look. The reflections and lighting are amazing. HDRI is a beautiful thing. Not to mention that this car just kicks soo much ass (both in real life and in this render). Your modelling is very detailed and precise. Texture wise the floor would have to be my favorite, followed by the headlights and then by the car itself.

Cons: there do appear to be some subtle bumps/dents in the front end of the car. the atmosphere is a little to minimal. Thats a pretty big courtyard/room for just one car.

Nice work, obviously the pros outwiegh the cons. I love it.

that really owns, as far as i can see, the render surely can't get much better lol. yeh...i was wondering wot wos missing till i read zeroauthority's comment - the dash of course! and pehaps u could work on the angle u rendered it at? a model as good as that deserves a nice pic, if u know to i mean, to do it justice. nice work *thumb UP*

oooooo - lookn' good... but I don't see a dash and a steering wheel... is that whats not done? +1 point for me!
Its lookn' really nice so far... but it might be the angle of the view but it looks a little short in the length(wheelbase), i donno.

Nice job!
