I think you enhanced the saturation too much and it's not only because of the eyes (they look quite cool, actually) but mostly because of the collar. The colours just hurts my eyes and there even is no texture visible.
If you would do something with the levels/exposure/lights&shadows then the colours would be more vivid but still natural at the same time.
Apart from that: it's a really lovely photo. I love the depth, the snow and how silky his fur looks. The colours look nice except of what I mentioned above, and the composition is great! It cought my eye immediately!
