Aw cute concept. I love the texture of the painting in the mushroom and the way the girl is holding the spider web as though it's a piece of cloth. The sunset color scheme is nice. It makes me think of summer and waiting for the stars to come out. Try adding a focal light coming in from the left. It'll bring more depth and contrast to the piece and accentuate the shadows more. Since it's the sunset a bright, golden yellow would fit nicely. You can create the sunrays by setting your brush opacity low (around 20% I think), clicking on a space outside the canvas, holding down shift and clicking wherever you want the light to end inside the canvas. For this I'd imagine it ending right around the character lying on top of the mushroom. Then you can add in a more opaque highlight on the character to show the sunlight reflecting off their skin.

I think this be the longest comment I've ever received. Thank you for it! Much better then a two word comment involving 'it's' and an adjective.
For people as small as faeries I think something like a web would be like cloth to them~
Well, it already is really sunset-ish, and the shadows have a good contrast, but I like the sun beam idea. It could add more of an evening feeling, and give something more to look at on the side. I'll give it a try sometime, thank you = ).

Can I really pwn your face on a cliff, by the sea, with mushrooms? That would be one fun timez...
Aw shucks, you make me blush with your compliments.

If mushrooms can make a person grow twice their normal size, or make a druggie see colors that would put Fantasia to shame...then yes, mushrooms can do ANYTHING.

Do you mean like this or this? Use these tags, <*sup*><*/sup*> and <*sub*><*/sub*> without the stars of course lols.
Anyway, daaaaang gurhhl. It looks great, I don't think it needs to be outlined digitally. x3 I loooove coloring in SAI (too bad my trials up XD) and this looks great, I feel the ~ambiance~ with the time of day and everything!! 8DD

YAY FOR SMALL FONT.
DA help never helps, I always have to ask people for my tagging needs ;_; Thank you.
Thanaaanks gurrhl. Yeah, I'm not used to using a sketch for lines, but I think it adds to the picture, gives it a more dreamy and softer feel, which what I was going for.
SAI coloring is wonderful, (I actually got the crack, so I has it forever, mwahahaha) but I mostly only used it for the sky, because no way is Paintshop Pro going to give me that kind of blending mmhmm. W00T for ambiance, I was hoping people would get an afternoon sunset feeling ;_;!

lol I know what you mean. I STILL can't remember how to do the icon/username tags all the time
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN AGAIN. That's the kind of feel I wanted in my Seaking one. ;-;
lol I might just need to shop around myself for it~~ Harhar. Nooope, not at all. I found that you really need to have custom brushes and manipulate them to get what you really want in coloring for Photoshop. <<; I DID, AWESOME. :0
