Main History

Zero grew up in a household of two, just him and his father. He loved not having a huge family like the rest of his friends, although sometimes he did feel left out, but his friends always made up for that emptiness. His father was a sturdy Unfezant who worked as a reporter in Johto, and when Zero was younger, he often got the chance to go out and see all the amazing things that his father got to experience. As the boy grew up, it became obvious that his fathers adventure lust had carried onto him. Zero started going out on "Adventures" of his own. More or less they were just exploits of him getting into trouble, but yet his father saw it as inspiration for the young bird.

Zero began to show up at his schools less and less, and because of this he ended up dropping out of those systems and began to take homeschooling courses to get it out of the way. It was a breeze getting through his school work, but his social skills suffered: becoming more brash and curt in the face of others, even beginning to start fights with them as well. This made his father worry, his only son was now coming home with injuries all over his body and of course his father was going to do anything in his power to protect his only child. After a good year of the the teenager's reckless actions continues, his father finally took initiative on the matter. He believed that a change of scenery might of been necessary in this case. After several packets of paperwork were filled out, It was then set to send the Staraptor off to a boarding school in Sinnoh.

The Sinjoh Ruins and Binki

About a year before Zero was sent off to the Academy, he found himself off on a expedition up north. There were rumors of an ancient ruins that held the power of creation, but it was also said to be extremely hard to navigate to the site since it was lined with walls and walls of snow. By this point, the male was used to a little pain, so flying through the icy wind was no big deal to him. Though he had found the site he had been searching for, it wasn't as special as everyone else had made it out to be, and didn't end up spending too much time in the frigid place. And by the looks of it, someone else couldn't either. He made it about a quarter way back when it occurred to him that he was being followed but a smaller pokemon in the shape of the letter. Shooing it away did no good, and when he had thought he got rid of them, they would just appear back up later. After a good couple of months of dealing with the little Unknown, he had gotten used to the company. From then on it was odd to see the Staraptor without the shadow friend following him around, often the pokemon would use their hook like body to hang on the male's backpack or jacket throughout the day. At this point, Zero had just learned to ignore it.
