This is cool. Do you actually use any references for your artwork or is it more of a memory thing now, after years of doing this? You know, like you can draw a three-headed purple raccoon in a few minutes.

It depends. If I'm doing realism I reference quite heavily, but for semi-realism and more stylistic pieces like this, I don't usually use a reference unless something doesn't look right

I think it looks really nice though, still ^_^ Sometimes it's hard to get the opacity right when you're shading like that I find.

I'm exactly the same Though luckily, the program that I use now is much easier for balancing out opacity than the programs that I used to use were
