ImageAn early start one February was spent at Leather tor over looking Burrator Reservoir. The view here is one of the best on Dartmoor which also means plenty of photographic opportunities. I had planned for other shots however the clear blue sky didn't give the scene the element I was looking for. I spent around an hour watching the mist in the distant dancing amongst the plantation, however it didn't provide a great focal point. As I waited the sunlight began to hit the tip of the mist bringing it to life, fortunately mist on the nearby trees began forming providing a great composition. I made my exposures before making my way home for a well earned breakfast.
