A nice picture. I've noticed something; maybe she's related in some way to them.Β Perhaps she is a daughter to the Gracey family. Apologies, it's just that I'm making my own version of the family using various versions of The Haunted Mansion (including the 2003 movie. sorry, but it's ok imo, and Jennifer Tilly makes an excellent Madame Leota). I couldn't decide a name for the sea captain character, but Gilbert seemed to work imo, and it was either that or Montague (if I chose Montague I would've made a to "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder").
Edward Gracey and Elizabeth Henshaw
Gilbert Gracey--eldest son, sea captain betrothed to Emily Ravenscroft O'Hara (based on Nuptial Doom: the story of the Haunted Mansion Bride in the Attic)
Lillian Gracey--middle child, circus performer
Constance "Hatchaway" Gracey--youngest daughter, good with an axe, black widow bride (based on current version of the DW and DL ride)
Emily Ravenscroft O'Hara--a nobleman's daughter famed for her beauty, betrothed to Gilbert (see comment near Gilbert, guess the I made for her last name. Here's a hint: both of those people with these last names did voice work for the ride; one for the original, the other for a Halloween-Christmas overlay in DL and TDL)
Henry and Martha Ravenswood--Uncle and aunt to the Gracey familyΒ
Melanie Ravenswood--niece to the Gracey family, betrothed to Jake Evans (based on Phantom Manor)
Jake Evans--betrothed to Melanie, murdered by a Phantom
What do you think? I gave Emily and Jake separate lines because they weren't married into the families before their deaths.

This is a gorgeous drawing. I question the validity of the backstory, though... I've never heard these names or stories confirmed for these characters. It sounds like someone's fanfiction to me.

Woah really cool! I love the way you drew this. I knew the guy that talks to you on the ride name was Master Gracey. I didn't think the people in the portraits had names too!

you are very good at shading! Do you like to use only black and white, or do you sometimes do colour? wow, you are really, REALLY good. Well done!

actually, this is his first wife, the second one is Emily and the new bride with the hatchet is his aunt, who got wealthy trough killing 4 men until she died (cause yet unknown). your right about the ghost host though, he is mostly known as Master Gracy and is the one who brought the woman in the glass globe on the ceance table ( Madame Leota) into the mansion.
