I have no idea where the Red Cricket pairing came from (other than the tendency for fans to pair everything that can be paired) but it's growing on me.

Some say the origin of the pairing could be that they are the only ones who don't have a canonical partner on their tales. Jiminy is single, so is Red. Others say it is because their personalities would make cute romance; he is the coy gentleman (an actual nice guy, not a passive-agressive beta with victim complex), and she is a vixen diva.
There are rumors that say it will become canon next season.

Well, the Bioware fangirls will tell you that Sbarge can CERTAINLY pull a romance plot. Not sure where the whole idea came from either, as I can't recall them ever interacting on screen.
As for the picture, I'm really digging the facial expressions, and the realistic shadows on everyone's faces and clothing.

Oh, yes, he was the voice actor of two Bioware popular characters, right? Kaiden Alenko and Carth Onasis, if I'm not mistaken, and I am possitive I'm misspelling the names, ha. He has a sexy voice, that's for sure!
About the characters interacting on screen, there are plenty Archie scenes that weren't used, so there is that and the fact that in one scene he seems to be looking at Granny's place with longing; a second later, it is shown that Ruby is posing on the main door. Take of that what you will. And... Don't want to raise hope for those who want it canon, but recent pictures of the set of the second season shows them on the same scene. Rumors confirmed?

Yup. Kaiden and Carth. Which just makes the same actor playing a designated "voice of conscience" even better. A good deal of their lines in ME and KOTOR was along the lines of "Um, Shepherd, the Paragon option is probably a good idea." and "Revan, that Dark Side action is a VERY bad idea."

*splutters and flushes* Oh, I just...I just adore you. <3 You have no idea...how much. *dies of sheer joy* I'm so overwhelmed that I'm actually having a hard time putting what I'm feeling into words. XD And Archie, he's just absolutely cute without his glasses. Call me crazy, but his little round nose makes me grin. Especially with how it and his lips are reflecting the red of her bandana.
And Ruby's hair is EXACTLY how I imagined it! Messy and curly and all over the place as she's stuck doing the worst of all jobs. I actually drew a sketch of what she's wearing in that scene, and your rendition of her hair matches almost perfectly. I'm a bit amazed by it!
Brilliant, wonderful work. So incredibly expressive, and portraying what I would have wanted to share drawing-wise, if I had the ability to do so. If I could I would send you a hug across the internet.

I'm glad you like it! I was nervous it wasn't exactly the scene. It was supposed to be like an illustration from the 50's but ti didn't work out so well. I tried to make it a gingham dress but that was ridiculous idea. I nearly tore my hair out. I'm so excited you like it. I just really love The Gentleman and needed to get it into a drawing because it's my official RedxCricket headcanon.

Pshaw, exactness doesn't matter too much--what matters is that you captured the emotional feel of the moment. And if there were too many details then they would have probably just gotten in the way. *nods thoughtfully*
