Description Queen Rosaline: So, my fiancé participated yesterday?

Tori: He sure did.

Ben Plotz: We ended up in a discussion about contact lenses going up against glasses.

Queen Rosaline: Which side won?

Ben Plotz: Neither side. Perfect vision won, surprisingly.

Bip Bip: And it wasn’t even competing.

Tori: It’s almost like that one episode where two people were running for mayor, but in a surprising twist to everyone, a talking ham sandwich won.

Queen Rosaline: Hold on, what?!

Ben Plotz: Yep. I saw it happen with my own eyes and even I was surprised by the results. Don’t know what happened to the ham sandwich mayor, though. It’s been over 20 years since I last saw him.

Tori: Either the sandwich is still alive or there’s a brand new mayor. There’s really only two options.

Queen Rosaline: Wouldn’t it be weird for a talking ham sandwich to be a mayor?

Bip Bip: Well, yes, but it wouldn’t be the only time where someone, who isn’t a human, would be mayor. There’s a cat in Alaska who’s the mayor of a town.

Tori: This city’s own mayor is a basilisk, who only takes the form of a human. Learned that fact last year.

Ben Plotz: And that’s not even talking about the other cats, dogs, goats, and even foot powder that won mayoral elections. And yes, foot powder won a mayoral election back in 1967. I’m not making that up.

Queen Rosaline: Wow. I honestly didn’t know that before.

Tori: While it’s odd to see a talking ham sandwich win as mayor, when compared to many of the other non-human mayors in the past and in current day, it’s not the weirdest option. The foot powder is weirder by a long shot.

Bip Bip: Definitely.

Ben Plotz: That’s the weirdest candidate that ever won mayoral elections.

Queen Rosaline: Even I have to agree, even though it’s my first time hearing about it. Anyway, let’s get out of that topic before we spend the rest of the day talking about mayors.

Tori: I agree!

Queen Rosaline: So, for the next five days, do you know who’s going to be participating?

Bip Bip: The current schedule shows that Tori’s adopted daughter is participating tomorrow, followed by Tori’s mother on Friday.

Ben Plotz: Saturday and Sunday are still on the unsure side on who’s participating.

Tori: But next Monday, 404’s going to participate. I’ve actually been wondering what he looks like as a merbot for quite a few months now.

Queen Rosaline: Well, at least you have a few days where you know who’s participating. That’s good.

Ben Plotz: Maybe I can get a few of my narrator friends to participate. They seem like they need a break from narrating stuff for some time.

Tori: Oooh! Good idea!
