To everyone around him, Chris Andrews is another C-Sec Officer charged with keeping the 'streets' of the station clean. In reality, Chris is an Operative to the Cerberus rogue cells still loyal to the Illusive Man. Since redeployment Chris' Cerberus masters have given him the task of monitoring Citadel Security as well as the suddenly noisy collective of detectives on Tayseri Ward.

After making contact with Baker Ward and becoming known to them during the cases 'Paron'Krol Versus the Office Two Doors Down,' and 'Chokehold,' Chris is put in a bind when the fates bring his deserter sister Anne back into his life as Lars' new girlfriend. Finally finding it in him to leave Cerberus, he severs ties to his Cell, and runs to Baker Ward for protection who turn him into the Alliance. A deserter now, the ex-Operative spills his knowledge of Cerberus to the Alliance in return for future collaboration in the Alliance's cold war with the new Cerberus and protection. After an attempt to kill Chris and Anne is thwarted by Baker Ward, he joins Baker Ward's ranks despite his prejudice for most of the things around him.
