ENG: They produce a substance through their tear glands that is highly flammable, the slightest spark would produce large flames. This substance has a very unpleasant fuel smell that the Molocry use to scare away Pokémon that try to attack them, shooting it up to 10 meters away. They are capable of biting their tongue to induce its own cry and produce more flammable tears. When their tears don't work, they curl up to show their sharp quills. Years ago people used the tears of molocry as oil for lamps, and to obtain them, they sometimes tickled them until the pokémon cried from laughter.

ESP: Producen una sustancia a través de sus glándulas lacrimales que es altamente inflamable, la más mínima chispa produciría grandes llamas. Esta sustancia tiene un olor a combustible muy desagradable que los Molocry utilizan para ahuyentar a los Pokémon que traten de atacarlos, disparándola hasta a 10 metros de distancia. Son capaces de morderse su propia lengua para inducirse el lloro y producir más lágrimas inflamables. Cuando sus lágrimas no funcionan, se enroscan para mostrar sus afiladas púas. Antiguamente usaban sus lágrimas como aceite para lámparas, y para obtenerlas a veces les hacían cosquillas hasta que lloraban de la risa.
