I painted this a while ago before my digital obsession took hold.Just found it lurking in a file covered in cobwebs
Pure watercolour on stretched 90lb Bockingford. I always paint strong colours, I never got the hang of the beautiful soft watercolour washes that I admire.

Wow, I had no clue you did traditional.... Well, just another reason to admire you! This is absolutely stunning. And being it that I absoluetly suck at watercolor, I have only the utmost respect for a persons mastery of it, and you have utterly conquered it! yeah, I like the strong colors you use and the level of detail is amazing, especially for watercolor.

wow, no offence intended AT all but i didnt know you could paint (just seeing your photomanipulation) this is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love it to bits and am jealous of your talent haha. i know what you mean with the watercolours but its a different style to how you seem to paint, i prefer using watercolour like this anyway the washiness isnt for me..... i hope to be this good one day

I actually prefer more saturated watercolors. has amazing watercolor techniques that combine the use of washes and saturated color(I just bought her seriously awesome art book). This is really impressive. I think you should do more traditional stuff...after all, I think there is something to be said for getting paint under your nails once in awhile
