So, like most of your paintings, this one leaves me wondering what the story is. Is that you, is that someone else? Do you just like bluejeans or something? I mean, I'm wearing them but I'd never want to draw them. Maybe I would. Actually, I take it back, I drew a blue jean jacket. heh, I'm still wondering what's the story here...?

Yes it is me. I decided on a portait of something other than my face. I figured why not make it about a trusted old pair of jeans.

It's funny, the toes where almost an afterthought for me. I painted them quickly. They turned out to have a nice quality about them.
