Description In this time line, Italy performed much better during World War I so the Treaty of London (1915) was effective. Italy received the German colony of Kamerun and the region of Dalmatia.

At the same time the Turkish War of Independence was not so favorable for the Turks. Together with Greece, France and the USSR, Italy managed to retain part of its new territories promised in the Treaty of Sèvres.

Thanks to this, the resentment of the "Vittoria Mutilata" never happens and although Mussolini develops fascism, it never took the power in Italy ... until Adolph Hitler invaded the country in 1942. After the flight of the government and the Royal Family to Libya, Hitler established a puppet government with Mussolini at the head. Italy was freed faster than in OLT thanks to Italian resistance, Mussolini died as in OTL and fascism died along him.

After the war Italy managed to preserve its colonies by creating the "Unione Italiana" an organization similar to the British Commonwealth. Except for Cameroon, the King of Italy remains the monarch of these states.

Today Italy is a richer, more stable and influential nation than in OTL, Italian is much more widespread and more used in business and communication. Italy is the 7th world economy ahead of India, only surpassed in Europe by France, Germany and the United Kingdom, the latter constitute together with Italy the heavyweights of the European Union.

The southwest of Anatolia was promised to Italy in the Treaty of Sèvres. Also Italy was promised an unspecified German colony in the Treaty of London, Kamerun in this case.
