Description
After quite a gap between this and my last picture from resting after Pat's Kaiju March, going on a birthday trip to Cancún with my dad, and reanimating a scene from RWBY, I managed to pump out at least one more picture for April before I get to work on pics for Mermay. And... ok, it's another friggin' Pokemon Team group shot, but I figured given the circumstances (I.E. taking advantage of the 3DS eShop closing for goon in 2023 by checking out the original Pokemon Red, which was probably not the best decision looking back XP.) it'd be ok to make at least one more after the last two before taking a break from this particular setup.

So anyways, after recently playing through the original Pokemon Red during my break, I knew I had to make another one of these Team Group pics (along with the return of who I will now refer to as "Lil' Dipshit Patrick"), and another double team pic to contrast with my team from Let's Go Pikachu that I played through a while ago. At least with this one, I get to do a funny artistic contrast thing with the colors and background between the two teams and Patricks, so it's something a little different I guess.

The naming scheme I went with my Red playthrough was naming all my Pokemon after characters played by Hugh Jackman, including Memphis the Blastoise, Van Helsing the Fearow, Valjean the Dugtrio, Blackbeard the Snorlax (who I gave a literal beard to spice up this particular Snorlax), Logan the Electabuzz (who I gave little electric claws to to make up for the fact that I couldn't catch a Sandslash in Red to name him Wolverine), and Barnum the Muk (who I gave a top hat and cane to as well).
And for my Let's Go Pikachu team, I didn't have a particular naming scheme to, so I just named them whatever I felt like. Hence they are Strider the Pikachu (because your partner Pokemon in game is suppose to be like a close friend, I decided to name him after my IRL best friend [not his real name of course for discrepancy]), Stewart the Venusaur, Banana-Man the Primeape, Baragon the Nidoking, Andre the Lapras, and Strafe the Aerodactyl.

One thing I might as well mention is the reason with Valjean and Baragon underground from the rest of the team, being that in both Let's Go and Red, my strategy with both of these guys was to just spam the hell out of Dig set to the tune of "Digga Tunnah" from Lion King 1&1/2, so I figured I'd draw both these guys doing just that, while jamming to the song.
And also my regular avatar in trainer garb learning the valuable lesson of not to hold an Electric-type Pokemon who's bro fisting another Electric-type Pokemon without rubber gloves.
