Artist Statement: The statue in this photograph is on my father's grave. My mother bought it and placed it there as representation and reminder of my love and close bond to my dad. It only reminds me of the innocence that I had lost after witnessing his murder. It reminds me of what I used to be. It reminds me of what I can never get back. I not only lost my father, I lost myself. Still trying to find the little girl I used to be.
