Their marriage disintegrating, Kendra Ling and Mona Favre know the expedition to the planet Kiva would their last as both a xenobiology survey team and spouses.

A disaster in space maroons them on the unknown world with almost no technology. Their prospects for survival look grim until unexpected contact with very alien lifeforms completely changes everything. But will these otherworldly 'dryads' be their salvation, or something far more sinister?

Dryad: a fantastic tale of alien contact and transformation.

I'm very happy with both how the story and the cover turned out for this one. It explores ideas that Phil and myself have been interested in for a while now. If you're interested in science fiction adventure, transformation stories, or unusual alien biologies, check it out!

I just finished reading the story.  First of all, the cover fits perfectly with the theme.  Beautiful design, there.  Though I feel that the fleshing out of the relationship between the main characters remained somewhat thin, the strength of it was very prevalent throughout the story.  The biology of Kiva reminds me a bit of the Oankali from Octavia E. Butler's Xenogenesis trilogy, and its effects on the characters was fascinating.  Very well done.
