Description Loved drawing this one - i had seen a version by another pencil artist and after a few hours searching found the original photograph on shutterstock, dropped all the other pieces i was working on and 20+ hours later here it is

Drawn on Bristol Board smooth paper with Faber Castell 9000 series pencilsΒ  - size: 50cm wide by 30cm high.

Not sure why - sometimes you just know when something fits into your style - i believe it was the light/shadows - and i have always been a sucker for a sad child!!

I probably went a little too dark on the dress and would lighten it a little if I drew it again - but very happy with the results nonetheless Β
