This was made with my Wacom Volito tablet. It's all freehand.
I had this idea some time ago but I was too affraid to draw the transparencies. Have been avoiding it...
So, I finally found some courage to let it all go. It didn't hurt that much. I'm not too pessimist about the result. Although I needed some reference to draw the animal body.
That, in case it doesn't look like one, it is a Fissalia ,a living organism (or several organisms each one with a specific function) that lives at the surface. I read about it some time ago and it really fascinated me.
It represents the society here...
Ok! That's enough!
So, hope you like it. This is nothing visually spectacular but I decided to submit it because it is important to me.

Compreende-se perfeitamente a tua mensagem neste trabalho que é fantástico. Ter um filho devia ser, realmente, muito mais do que isto. Um dever social ou um troféu para que os outros saibam e reconheçam a virilidade ou fertilidade de outros. Muito mau princípio social, não tenho dúvidas quanto a isso. Por isso encontra-se muitas crianças ainda a sofrerem necessidades básicas de abandono e falta de tempo que são desculpáveis com a falta de paciência ao fim do dia de trabalho e o peso na cabeça de muitos como algo "quase insuportável" A verdade é que deveria ser o símbolo tão só e apenas do amor, de uma entrega consciente e desejada. Deveria ser o símbolo do amor por um ser que nos regenera e nos ensina tanto mais quando nós lhe poderemos dar. Paula, a primeira vez que olhei este teu trabalho, considerei-o tão maravilhoso que não deitei atenção ao nome ou à descrição mas hoje, talvez por estar mais sensível ao facto, apercebi-me desta verdadeira mensagem social que não é benéfica, sendo gerada nestes parâmetros, nem para quem se sente obrigado a gerar "algo" que garanta um lugar social de alguma forma. Este embrião que já é um ser em crescimento deveria ser uma dádiva e não um troféu. Espero que aos poucos se mude o conceito social existente no nosso País. E os poucos que pensam o contrário que se proliferem e transmitam em cada palavra a verdadeira razão da existência de um fruto que vai sendo gerado e criado na àrvore do amor.
