I would've been fine if the movie version of Wonder Woman was African American, instead of the chick from Fast & Furious.

I'm sure Gal Gadot will do a fine job, but I just want to see an Amazon, a really big and strong framed woman in the role, someone who is physically and visually as imposing as the men in the movie.

Possibly; I really wanted to explore the idea of any woman being able to take on the mantle of WW. Nubia is very under-used; I'd like to see her more in the comics.

Thank you; I've been interested in treating Diana as a spirit that women of all ethnicities could embody, hence representing her as looks other than the Caucasian image of the mainstream comics. I love the idea of having her really visually embody the dark skin/curly/kink hair of Mediterranean women, or the feel of Northern African women as well. I was also working to give her a confident, but not cocky expression on her face; the look of respected and even power.
Hopefully I pulled it off.
