I don't get most of what yall are discussing, but nice work. Did you know that the real statue of the flag raising has one extra hand in the middle of all the Marines.  When asked the sculptor said it was not a mistake, because the hand of God was helping raise the flag too.

Thanks! ...and for passing on your knowledge, it's a wonderful fact...and a moving insight into this great statue!

I hope you don't mind if I add it into the description?

They're all carrying M-16s. Maybe as a suggestion, one of Panko's sets could provide a more historically-accurate rifle prop? Other than that, really well done.

Hi There, thanks for that... I was pretty sure that these guns are from the Panko set! But I will check. Thanks, I'm glad you liked the image

It's not that the props are bad, per se -- it's just that you were so close to hitting the target in emulating an icon image, and that one historically-inaccurate feature throws it off. Sorry, but I tend to notice things like that -- it's not meant as criticism.

Sure I understand what your saying... I'm a perfectatist too, belive me. I've had time to go back and check out the Poser file info for the Panko gun/rifle I used which it says is a USAR_15A1 does that help?

---- USAR_15A1 Assault Rifle: (Named thus to avoid possible ìtrademark issuesî). Fully posable with functions controlled by dials on the ìbodyî part. It is also using switching geometries to change the shape of the sling and the magazine (from the standard 20 rounds to the long 30 rounds). To change the sling shape, select the ìslingî part of the body and use the dial reserved for this function. For the magazine change select the ìMag20î part and use the dial. Like the pistol this is not a conforming figure --setup poses are provided though.

He also says... This is a complete GI Combat Gear from the Vietnam War era to fit DAZís Victoria 3. (I am aware that women did not take part in combat action in Indochina, but this is a "What If..." proposition....

ShareCG has something: "M1 Carbine" ([link] ) by chucknepo, who also a 1911 pistol up as well.

I love Panko's stuff, but it never seems to go on sale, and I try not to buy unless something is on sale (try but fail -- a lot).

Later...
