Do you use the smudge tool or mostly just the brush tool?

well kinda both - they're mostly pallette knives. They smear a chunk of paint at a specific angle, always loosing a bit if you do it gently. Thats how I blend colours. With stronger pulls its stays constant and this way I can make long lines, achieve shapes, and large spots of paint. Of course I have to start with some brush just to define first colours, but rest is an effect of combining. Nice thanks. Yeah because your style looks like a style of signatures that use the smudge tool that I practice alot. You are way more advanced though then what I see. I am going to try using the chisel tip that you do and see how it works out for me.
Here is an example:

Chisel has a sharp pointy end, knife is more like long drafting smearer, you need some practice if you want to make rounder shapes, or just pointy lines. Very nice stuff, I really like what you did here, T think I've gave you a fav on it
