Description It's my newest character! Meet Normoon. She's a two-tailed wind tiger. ^__^

This drawing is what I like to call "musically inspired". Has anyone ever played Quest 64, for the Nintendo 64? The few people who have all hate it, except for me. I love that game! It's lame in so many ways... Plot, graphics, cinemas... But something about it won my heart. My favorite town in the game is Normoon, the green city of winds. It has windmills, and the citizens and nearby monsters specialize in wind magic. But the best part is the music! I swear, Normoon has the best music in the whole game! (That's not saying a lot- The music is generally quite lame...) I listened to the Normoon music every moment I was drawing this. I can't get enough of it!

I know, I know. No background! Whatever has become of my background pact?! Well, I kinda consider this one to be a character sheet, in a sense. I'm going to redraw Normoon someday with some clothing and a background. This is mainly to show her body markings and such. Besides- Don't you think a background would have just ruined the mood of this?

Info: Prismacolor pencils, video game music, about four hours.

I played Quest and quite enjoyed it for what it was worth. It's really too bad that half the material that they were going to put into it wasnt because it was rushed. Despite the lack of some aspects, it still turned out to be a pretty fun game. Correct me if im wrong, but isnt Normoon the town right after the caves? Its so nice to get out of them. xD Very good job on the anatomy of your dual tailed kitty cat. I like tigers. x3 The use of green is very well balanced. :]

This is nice. Her stance is so dynamic! As for the background, it would only hinder the wonderful shape you've created with her body. No need to ground a creature of the wind with a heavy background. A lot of subtle balancing is done here. Her solid hair is balanced nicely with the complexity of interlaced legs and tails. The color of her eyes is seen again in the fabric on her ankle. You're so good at blending I can hardly tell it's done in colored pencil.

I could not WAIT to get to this picture to review and fave it.

The coloring is what really makes it shine. The greens you chose make her gleam and look so 3-D. Her posture is completely believable, and so full of movement. Her tails swinging behind her bring across that sense that she's dancing and having the best time! The paw placement manages to encompass the entire picture... the hair is so full and bright and looks so soft... and the petals swirling around her perfectly tie the picture up.

Of course, it never needed a background. And it is such a fave from me

Oh! I like her. The way you blended her hair/fur/everything out is spiffy!

Color scheme is great, too. I don't know if you know, but her right leg looks a bit funny to me. Like... I dunno. Too far down? Maybe I just stare at aspects of the drawings too much @_@

I really like those petals, and I know how you feel about the music stuff XD Except mine come out in animated videos, and I couldn't sit still long enough to do one of those

Hmm... I'm not sure I see the problem with the leg but I'll take your word for it. Input like this is important because viewers can see mistakes and weird things that the artist can't. I'll try to be a little more careful with leg placement in the future.

Yeah, the same thing happens to me. I hear a song and a mental image springs to mind and it MUST GET OUT. Hence, I put it on repeat and draw! Normoon...she's green, and a tiger, and has flowy hair, two tails, and a cute face and pose...there's nothing to not love about her! I also like the ankle sash, the complementary color makes a nice accent.

Quest 64? I played that game! I love that game! I beat that game. If it's an RPG and I can get my hands on it, I play it till it's done, usually all in one run XD

Anyway, I LOVE that pose. It's so great! Oh, hey, I just noticed the two tails, for the first time. Awesome. And she looks so shiney! I love the colour scheme, and the little purple thing tied around her leg Great anatomy, too, I only think I might see one little thing, but I could be wrong and I don't have the energy to bring it up, but it's tiny and minor so and otherise, perfect! Yay! A fellow Quest 64 fan! We're a serious minority... I beat it, too, several times. I love replaying it and finding new ways to raise my stats. Like, just letting monsters pepper you with wind cutters- You lose like 1HP per strike, and gain 10% on your defense! And peppering monsters with wind cutter does the same thing to your MP percentage.

Now you've got me curious! Do tell what you saw wrong! I wanna know! I bet you said that just to bug me...
