My lousy entry for the awesome contest over at . We're supposed to create an evolution or pre-evolution of an existing Pokemon that we would like to see when the fifth generation is revealed.

I love Solrock, and I think it'd be cool if it got a new evolution. So, here's my Roquazar. I don't think it's very creative, but I didn't want to completely abandon Solrock's design elements. I took out a plane of symmetry and tried to make Roquazar look a little more imposing, giving it a shape similar to a skull with an elongated brain case to make it look kinda alien. Info time!

Roquazar, the sun Pokemon
- Type: Rock/Fire
- Evolution: Evolves from Solrock with a Sun Stone and a Fire Stone
- Size: 5'2", 950 lbs
- Ability: Levitate
- Pokedex information: "Roquazar gives off various types of radiation, including those of Sun and Fire Stones. Some Pokemon may be induced to evolve by exposure to this radiation. Roquazar appears to have control over the types of radiation it emits, and though these Pokemon display no personality or communication, they never emit harmful radiation around living creatures. Electromagnetic spectra from deep space being detected by high-tech laboratory equipment has led scientists to believe that space is inhabited by numerous Roquazar. Some theorize that a galaxy might be created if many of these Pokemon come together."
- Moves: Doesn't learn Psychic-type moves after evolving from Solrock, but learns many Rock and Fire type moves naturally.
- Stats: Slightly higher than average HP, very high Attack and Defense, decent Special Attack, poor Special Defense, and dismal Speed.
