Do you add the hair on after? Like, do you cut a shape or what? I've never known how to do it like this!

First I make and sculpt the body. Then I bake it for a couple minutes until the head is a little hard. I take it out of the oven, let it cool, and then"cut" the shape for the hair and put it onto her head. it takes a wicked long time to get it right (as you can see from the description where I have the # of hours it took) but this is the best way I have seen to do it. After the hair is on I bake it all together for the correct amount of time and then use a strong glaze to make sure the hair stays on the charm.

I have an extremely different technique. [link] , there's an example of where i've added hair, [link] and that's a longer hair length. I just roll the hair and add it on, i guess our methods are so different, but that's what makes our things so cute!

Haha. I noticed. I am terrible with colored clay. I like to paint it better. >w< I get too much fuzz and dirt in the colored clay. I don't even know how I do it. ;w;

You should work on a white tile, and get some baby wipes and lightly brush clean your charms. Also, hot water + soap your hands, then make sure they are bone dry before using your clay, this helps a lot. ^-^
