Hmm I just heard from a guy that knows a lot about it that the hammer actually has to be small, as it's a throwing hammer. I didn't know that. I thought it was a big hammer to hit people with. Also the guy says the helm with the horns never existed. Not sure what exactly I have to believe, but both the traditional and the commercially influenced Thor is great to me.

When I see pictures of Norway, I feel like I need to be there... I can't describe the feeling. My family is Norwegian, but I've never had the opportunity to go there... someday I will, and I hope it feels like home to me because here doesn't. What got you interested in Norse-ish things anyway?
