This is really clever and amusing, but the lighting on you, apart from whats around your hand, is really gorgeous.

I love the effect of the light in your hand. Would you be willing to share how you did that? It really does look fabulous. The lighting in the rest of the image is gorgeous as well, and very effective. The highlights and shadows really bring out the definition of the muscles in your body, and show the human body for what it is - a piece of art

Hi! thank u! I bought the lights from IKEA they were old christmas lights. I used a desk lamp pointing on the ground in a dark room to get the deep shadows and wrapped the light around my hand, there was a lead which I got rid of in photoshop. It took ages to get the shot right as I had to put the camera on self timer and quickly run into position!

You know, I love hearing stuff like that! I do a LOT of stuff with improvised lighting cause proper lights are so bloody expensive, and it's refreshing to see other people doing the same. And Ikea is fabulous
