It's a nice background. The funny thing is how everythign looks traditional. I thought the grass musta been colored pencil for a second, but my mind made me re-look and read the description better. Nice dragon too ^_^

I used the gauche tool, but I think I like the oil brush tool better (that's what I used on the Unicorn pic). I really want to learn how to use the watercolor brush. It looks so complicated though

I use the watercolor mostly, it's the reason I have painter. xD I have painter classic, though... But the watercolors are uber fun cause you can blend them nicely, just like real watercolors. You can also use the water brush to drag over them and get that washed out kinda look. I honestly have never tried to use any of the other tools in painter.... Maybe I should.

Beautiful- it looks like an illustration straight from a book. The colours are very nice, this almost looks as if it has been done in real media. That background is awesome.
