[Excitable] Almost constantly beaming with friendly energy and an untameable happiness, excitability is one of the most noticeable traits of Fausta. She gets overwhelmed by almost anything, even the simple mention of other cubs playing gets her hyped. This might come as an annoyance to some of the older Gladiators, but she enjoys herself nonetheless.

[Friendly] Along with her excitability comes her unwavering friendliness, towards absolutely everybody she meets. Despite not truly knowing her parents, she imagines they would both want her to make everyone feel as happy as she is.

[Ambitious] Fausta puts her best foot forward in everything she does, knowing that her daddy is a great Gladiator for some other Empire that nobody will tell her about, and hopes to become just like someday. She loves challenging the other cubs in her Empire to 'duels', to try and show off to the older cats her true strength, that which she gets from both of her parents.

[Loud-Mouthed] She loves the sound of her own voice. Fausta often talks simply to talk, but makes sure everyone near her can hear her. Her opinions never go unsaid in any situation, and she never knows when to hold her tongue, even if at an inappropriate time.

[Cocky] If anything, she loves to talk about herself above other things, and what she feels about stuff, because obviously she has the most important opinion. Most of her cockiness comes from the mystery of her parents, so she assumes that they were both amazing and she is entitled to be known as amazing as well.

[Reserved] After many of her friends and relatives left her over the short course of her life, Fausta feels insecure meeting new people because she thinks that she is the cause of everyone disappearing. She also fears that if she gets too attached to someone else, they will turn out like everyone else she has become close with and either go missing or leave.

[Angsty] In other words moody, the apprentice is what could be called "angsty", often with angry or depressed emotions that she only bottles up. This causes her to sometimes sulk by herself or lash out at people who she usually wouldn't, and without meaning to hurt them, and comes with most teenage years.

[Realist] Fausta believes in the truth and honesty more than anything, and only tells the truth to people, usually not bothering to spare their feelings. She thinks critically about situations from a realistic point of view, which usually leans more towards pessimism.

History

"One life with one dream on repeat"
Cubhood (0-2 years old)

Following the story "Lost in the Lightning" by tictactie and Asante-Sana is where Fausta's real cubhood begins. For more info on her birth and the reason why she is separated from her real father and brothers, that is the place to look. She lived a fairly normal life in her first few months within Lightning Empire for a cub, being a bubbly surge of energy that wanted to make friends with just about anyone who would be near her. She considered Scion to be her true father up until about six months of age, but she hung on him like she was his real cub. She also made a very good friend in one cougar cub named Kaiden, and after playing together a few times, became stitched together at the hip. She loved him like he was her brother, and they would spend hours at a time together. When she reached half a year old though, Kaiden left into the night to go seek out his brother in the city shrouded in mystery, Massilia. The only words he said to her before he parted were his promise to return to her someday, and to "keep on smiling". She didn't smile as much anymore after he left, and she lost some of her cub-like wonder in the world after that night.

When she began going through her teenage phase, Scion became more and more distant from her and the rest of the Empire, leaving Fausta at somewhat of a loss. She would try and play games with him sometimes, but he wasn't as gung-ho as he was in her first year of life. The bengal tiger did begin giving her some hints as to who she was in terms of the Empires and Bounty Hunters, though he still refused to tell her about exactly who her father and brothers were, only that she would figure it out when the time came. She always noticed cats looking at her with a different expression that they would look at with most cubs; they would get adoring glances while she would get unnerving glares, almost like her Empiremates didn't trust her, like they were afraid of her. It was only when Scion was captured while outside of camp one day when the glares really began to seep into her mind and make her feel isolated. She had never felt anything harsher than when Scion went missing, and couldn't eat for almost a week afterwords. She went to her adoptive sister, Shani, for comfort, but it was only a matter of time after that when Shani disappeared as well. Fausta's temperament was never the same after that, and when she finally felt like giving up on being with the Empires, one thing saved her and her reputation.

RP sample: Fasuta gazed outside of the nursery den, watching as autumn drew to a close and winter stalked the Empires. Her bright eyes flitted to the last of the leaves falling from the trees surrounding the camp, gazing in amusement as they danced in the chilled wind, feeling compelled to chase after them, knowing she could no longer do it in only a few days' time. "I'm gonna go play with the leaves!" she announced to no one in particular, perhaps trying to get the attention of the other cubs in case they wanted to join her. Bolting out into the chill of the afternoon air, Fausta kept her eyes on the dying leaves, following them as they floated just above her reach. "Come on down here, you stupid leaves! I want to play with you!" she called up to the unresponsive plants, leaping up to try and bat them out of the air with her blunt paw. After a few crushing failures, she managed to catch one of the biggest leaves she'd ever seen, let alone caught. An excited mewl left her maw as she pinned the offending creature to the ground with enthusiasm. "Finally gotcha, you tricky leaf! Prepare to face the justice of the strongest Gladiator the Empires have ever seen!" Fausta pounced on it several times, until a satisfied crunching noise could be heard, and the devillish leaf was in pieces beneath her. She giggled triumphantly, before venturing off yet again, going after the next victim.
